I was reconciling my business checking account for September and saw a charge for $15 from Classmates.com.
I called my bank to see if this was simply an error of the incorrect bank account #, however they stated that classmates used my debit card number (I have no idea how they got this since it is not used online). Anyway calls to classmates went unanswered with 30 minute plus hold times with no answer.
I finally had to file stop payment and complaint with my bank (which was a bit time consuming when one considers my busy business schedule). The long and short is I have noticed from online investigation that there is a lot of scams currently being complained about involving Classmates, my advice to cancel even free memberships as I have now done and put this dishonest company out of business once and for all!!
